Data Synchronization

The third step in the data synchronization process is synchronization with channel partners. After all, your product data is useless unless it is shared!

Data Synchronization involves the following two steps:

• Data Extract Management. The manufacturer and channel partner will work together to mutually extract uniform data from their product master files to perform a data match. This is a critical first step in full data synchronization.

• Data Match Reporting. DATAgility has highly developed reporting methods that will show parts in your files that are not in the channel partner’s system, a likely source of lost sales.They will also show channel partner parts that are not in your system, a source of order and billing errors that cost at least 1.7% in lost yearly profits.
